21 Day Hold help

Okay surprisingly I made some accounts i completely forgot about and now they're aged. I have 2 from asia(specifically Hong Kong and Poland) and 1 from the UK. Both have receiving limits off because I verified them with legal documents(driver's license, ssn card, house bills, birth certificate). The only transactions on each of them are $20 payments I sent for gift cards because I wanted services that were only available in those countries. The Asia ones are 8 months old and the UK is 6 months old. Is the 21 day hold still on them? I was thinking about drop shipping but as you know drop shipping with 21 day holds is a little difficult. Is it worth a try?

You will only know for sure when you start taking payments on the accounts. I would not be surprised if they both still have holds though

Yes they will have the 21 day hold on them.
The only way around the 21 day hold is a successful selling history - and it has nothing to do with the age of the account.
As a matter of fact an account that already had those limits removed and stops selling for a long period of time is likely to find they have been placed on again when they start selling again.

Welcome to the forums OP.

AGED accounts have not just to do with date created but for how long they have BEEN IN USE. In this case...seems like they would be looked at as brand new accounts.

You are more likely to have your selling limits increased once you start selling on aged account but the hold seems to stay around until you sell consistently for 90 days and ship on time with no complaints.

I don't know about international, but in the US you have to at least meet these criteria before the hold will be removed:

-It's been more than 90 days since your first successful sale;
-You've had more than 25 sales transactions; and
-You've had more than $250 in total sales.

Re: 21 Day Hold help

this is exactly the reason why I sell at least ONE item on my accounts that are aging to start the 90 day time clock. Your active selling is what starts the 90 days. Not how long the account has been aging. It doesn't take 90 days to sell 25 items and make $250 dollars so I sell 1 item as soon as I make the account. I can do that in about 2-3 weeks.

Re: 21 Day Hold help

Just like aking said, sell 1 item to start the countdown then come back on the last month of the 90day then start selling to meet the 25 item requirement.
