Is it safe to use PP Stealth for retail purchases

Specifically, does it cause a problem to use a stealth account for something like paying for an Uber?

I know that PP can be used in store at Home Depot and other places now... is that okay with stealth?

As far as PP is concerned -- you are a legit, regular user.
So I don't see any problem in paying for some services or goods from your stealth PP.

There's nothing wrong with doing that as far as I know. Just make sure who ever you are trying to pay doesn't require you to verify your identity, if you're using a stealth identity.

What if you already had (have) a PayPal account for years, and now they want proof that you are the person you now claim to be on your new account?

Why/how in the world would a local retailer know anything about you having multiple Paypal accounts? :s

Doesn't seem to be anything written in the other poster's quoted comment about having multiple accounts or their implications...

I've tried to purchase things from Walmart before and it didn't work.. Dead end, despite confirmed address and all.

They eventually just refund the transaction saying that their "verification system" rejected it, whatever that means. Apparently some of these places have a third-party verification which probably checks public records.

if you're going to use it, make sure ID isn't a requirement for pickup. Good luck.

^^ I wouldn't try doing it online. It only makes sense they would verify you then to prevent fraudulent activity. A lot of places let you pay with Paypal in store. Pretty sure that's what OP was talking about.
