Buyers: PayPal verified vs not PayPal verified
 

Basically this is a question for you, very experienced sellers. What is the difference, when it comes to seller's protection, of buyers with verified PayPal accounts vs not verified?

For account to be verified, I think they have to add a bank account?


The reason I'm asking is to find out if I should bother requiring all my buyers to have a verified PayPal account?

I personally could care less if a buyers PP account is verified.
What I want to know is that my buyer has a Confirmed Paypal shipping address.
If a buyers address is not confirmed then you, as a seller, lose Paypal seller protection.

Hold on, I think we might be talking about the same thing. When buyer is verified, under he's name it says (verified), if not it's (not verified). How you know if address is confirmed?

It says, Address Confirmed or Address Unconfirmed. :/

Well perhaps it doesn't say that anymore? Because I don't see anything like that anymore.

The only thing I can see is this : (The sender of this payment is Verified) / (The sender of this payment is Unverified)

When you receive the payment look under the buyers address on the paypal payment notification or check the transaction on your paypal account.

I prefer both. I love paypal & the protection it gives.:rolleyes:

I prefer a confirmed address than a verified, it is always safer for seller

Guys, I used to sell under old PayPal and eBay, I know there should be something there. But now, I look, and it doesn't say anything like that, not only near buyer's address, but anywhere, period.

I did a page search too and went over every little detail on the page. Nada. :(

you got to be logged in to a paypal and just add the buyers or sellers email at the end where it says email@email.com to check if they are verified
