Ebay Has No holds. But Paypal made 21 day hold.Can't buy product to sell(giftcard)
 

Account had went negative .62 cents in paypal and the "your fund will be held 21 days" thing appeared on ebay as a glitch.

I was counting on this money to buy the product. Now I don't want to get a neg feedback if I refund. Also, I'm a bit worried as I'm new to selling giftcards on ebay, and I'm aware that buyer can just snad and say theres nothing on the card...

The card sold for 230$ and its a 200$ card. So since I'm new to selling this it seems a little funny anyways.

What to do?

Save yourself from trouble, stay away from Giftcards.

i know its not what you want to hear, but the only way you can avoid this problem is to have the gift card already purchased before selling and NOT dropshipping this will also help tremendously with any disputes that might occur over the sale of the gift cards

And ask yourself why someone would be willing to pay $230 for a gift card that has only $200 face value - when he could spend $200 to get the same value...

people use giftcards as a method of cashing out paypal, instead of using bank accounts on paypal so even currency goes higher than its worth on ebay.

And would you trust anyone trying to cashout their paypal account by paying that sort of premium - on a gift card no less?
Enough transactions with shady accounts and you lose the account and get your funds locked for 180 days (if theyre not reversed).
Not worth the risk if you ask me and can only end poorly.

I'm sure if you link a bank account you can access the pending funds. I had same issue a long time before.

$230 for $200 gift card sounds very fishy I wouldn't sell it. Look at the buyers history and feedback that usually can help determine your answer.

Not really.

People often high jack high feedback/aged accounts to pull the scam.
Hell, even the buyers will do it and then pull and unauthorized claim against the seller.

Avoid gift cards until a seasoned seller with an account capable of handling issues.
