PNC and CAP360
 

So, I just spoke to two different reps about it and why CAP360 can't be added. They claim that because of too many transfers that have gone "missing" and the bank won't allow then to put a trace on it. I have successfully added CAP360 many times over the past 12 months, but never got this reasoning. I know many, many people have tried and failed to add it. However, they also said the same thing about PNC virtual wallet and another one I couldn't understand. Has anyone else tried PNC lately?

i am in the process of opening a pnc bank so if it isnt working will be good to know before i go through the hassle. thanks

Hmm thats interesting I added several PNC accounts a few months back & have had no problems

Same here, I only have 1 bank account with PNC atm and it works. I plan to add more in the future. Its a business account btw.

If it was already added, they usually won't take it off.

PNC I have never had issues with, only with Capital one 360.

I have never tried CAP360, so I have no insight

I have used PNC Virtual Wallet, and I have never had an issue. But I will say this: I think if you open PNC Virtual Wallet online instead of at a branch that you may have those issues. Some banks have different routing numbers for account opened online. And I would bet ppl having issues with PNC Virtual Wallet are ppl that opened the account online instead of going into the branch. Just my thought.

I have a Cap360 and PNC Virtual Wallet accounts. All were opened online some time ago (at least a couple of years ago). I have one Cap360 account and the PNC Virtual Wallet came with 3 separate accounts. I have the Cap360 and one of the PNC Virtual Wallets attached to two separate PP accounts. Neither account is very active at this time but "reserve" @@@@ accounts. I was thinking of adding the second of three PNC accounts to a newer PP @@@@ account so I'm anxious to see what happens with that ~ will PP accept or reject it. Who knows with them ... it could go either way?!?!?

Thats exactly why. They told me the bank must be a "brick and mortar" bank.

I think in your circumstance with these accounts being opened (even online) that long ago that you might be alright. I believe this is a more current occurrence from less than a year ago.

I opened a PNC account online around the turn of the year, ( they gave me three, just like a previous user said ) and used one of them to verify a brand new PP, and I've transferred money to the account as well, no issues.
