Paypal Release Funds immediately on Newly account
 

Hey friends ,

I sold my very first item a few days ago uploading tracking and funds is pending... Why is it that I sold two item today and funds were automatically released in paypal account??? Is this normal on a newly stealth account??????

Is it a business account?

If not it's probably just some type of glitch. Definitely not normal for a new personal account to receive instant payments, but it's been sporadically reported several times on here.

It happens.
A glitch - nothing more.
Happens to me from time to time on new accounts as well.
Dont read too much into it.

On business accounts you receive the money instantly?

Until you reach your predetermined release limit. Once you pass that, and it can be really low, all funds are held for 21 days regardless of whether or not you upload tracking.

@johnnyj - Transfer the funds whenever you want. But I recommend waiting until you know the transaction(s) has(have) gone smoothly. Wouldn't want a chargeback to take your account into the negatives.

If EB has not placed a hold yet, it is very likely in a few days you will receive a paypal message "important notice about your paypal balance" and this way you will find out that everything what comes into your account now will be on hold for 21 day. Means EB does not place holds, but pp is holding your balls tight from now.

If eb places the limit, paypal does not. This way your payments from outside ebay will not be held. Only eb payments will be on 21 d hold. Much better option.

Both ways you will receive Eb payments hold. Now when a PP new design came in, and EB and a PP can place holds. Seen accounts where money is NOT under the hold for a week or two, but try to touch them and message about PP balance arrives...

usually first 1-2 payments they don't hold.

because it would deter new people from signing up if you aren't going to actually get paid for 3 days.

as far as the 21 day hold, it's little to protect paypal against loss, they just invest your money it the main reason.

C'mon man. Paypal is a public company. They aren't allowed to touch the funds of their customers. :nono:

Also I've never had "first 1-2 payments" released instantly. How much sense would that make? Scammers would just start using a new Paypal to scam 2 buyers, then move on to the next Paypal. :nono:

And Paypal is more popular than ever. More people are signing up per month now than ever before. :nono:

Lot of factors go in when considering instant payment release OP...pretty hit and miss
