selling 2.5k item to Norway....paypal alternatives? customs fees?
 

(1) besides paypal, what types of payment can i take from a buyer that's as safe as cash for me as a seller? western union?

(2) if i ship i want it insured of course but one post office rep said years ago you can't put different value for customs and insurance or they will take package and fine me?
but another rep today said everyone devalues and customs does not know if it's insured or how much it's insured for so she said i can buy 2.5k insurance put 50 value?

1 - WU works, so does bank transfer. BitCoin is another option

2 - You need to declare the correct value for customers. Really very cut and dry

Transferwise would be another option. It is similar to an international bank transfer but the fees are lower and the exchange rates better.

Bitcoin is the gud option but rate fluctuation effect if your selling item profit is low

BTC is not all that unstable these days.

You can also get paid into a BTC wallet that converts it straight away for you so you would not loose anything through fluctuation
