Manual release

Is anyone having problems with getting funds manually released. I like to call up and give the tracking to paypal on the third day and they would manually release the funds right then and there. Lately they seem to have lost this ability. Keep being told it is a system issue and that it will automatically be released. Anyone still getting manual releases?

PayPal seems to always have glitches of one sort of another

If something stops working usully if you give it a week or so it will start working again

I'm having the same problem. The system is not automatically releasing the funds after 3-6 days, so I've had to call up a couple times to submit for it to be reviewed and released manually.

Ive never bothered calling them about it.
I dont see the reason to risk any sort of call to them that is not absolutely necessary. Waiting another couple of days for my funds is not a 'make or break it' kind of thing so I dont see the point in risking an account on an ongoing basis with such calls.

They have, I , noticed seem more reluctant, or at least much slower to do this. I

Sometimes you have to ask twice.

Always best not to push your luck too far though as they may question why you seem so 'desperate' and look into your account in more detail.

It could be their way of pushing people into tracked postage more. They know you get your funds quicker that way and it is less manual work for them.

Re: Manual release

The problem is the system IS NOT releasing the funds automatically as it should.
It has nothing to do about getting funds released early, or being desperate. The automated system isn't working correctly in some instances.
I've had a couple to a few transactions which never got "automatically" released, despite the tracking being attached for a number of days as required under their new and old policies, until I actually called them up.
I've also experimented with how I add the tracking number on the Ebay and Paypal sides, doesn't seem to make a difference.. So meh.

I'm assuming this is a glitch, but it hasn't been fixed yet. Just had another payment that was held up without any release, since it meets all the requirements, I just have them get it manually released instantly over the phone...

I wouldn't call in repeatedly for manual disbursement...
