Random Paypal holds.
 

I've been selling stealthy on ebay for about couple of years now. It's always been that the hold stays for the first 90 days/250$/25+ items. Once the those conditions are met the money are released instantly. This time that's not the case.

Papal holds the money for the random transactions (not ebay but paypal itself), and I can't figure out what's causing this. Sometimes I sell an item for $50 and paypal holds it for 21 days, an hour later I sell another item for $250, and it's an instant release without any hold. Next day i sell the same item for $50 and there is no hold, but 250$ gets the hold now. WTF?????:noidea:

Yesterday I had a buyer winning 2 of my auctions. He payed separately. The first one went through without hold and released instantly, but when he payed for the second item couple of hours later, it gets a a 21 hold. So it's not the buyers, it's not the price, it's not the item type. What is it then???! and how do I stop it? If not for this account, then for my future stealths?

It's like i have to pray every time my items are sold for them not be held by paypal, which is funny and super annoying at the same time. Paypal Holds about half of my transaction payments for not reason, and i can't even pay for shipping since, it's not on eBay side. Ebay doesn't recognize those transactions to be held.

I would appreciate any advice. :help:

Most the time the holds will go away, but not always

I would take the 90 days/250$/25+ items as more of a guide, not a promise.

In time the holds will all go away, but it can take a few extra months

Are you selling risky items that are getting held?
Like electronics or brand name things?

Nope,nothing branded. Mostly selling toys, drills. garden suplies, ect. Stuff I've been selling for years without any problem.
