hmm
Have you checked the sellers feedback to see if he has had any negs from previous buyers with the same sort of problems. To be honest if you have already contacted the seller and they said they will dispute the claim then the only option you do have is to put a claim in through payal and explain what has happened. Tell the seller that you will leave them negative feedback. If you want to get your own back on the seller then dont forget you have his details and can get him banned if played in the right way
he will loose out more if he is a regular seller

A) Check the tracking number, is the destination zip code yours? If it is do B.

B) Contact your credit card company and file a chargeback, say you never received the item.

I really want to know if the destination ZIP on tracking # is same as yours.

P.S. I always pay with credit card, never bank account. Simply because my American Express provides more protection for me than PayPal.

No you can't open a charge back on bank account, it's something you can only do with credit or debit cards.

Yea, what above gentlemen suggested will work, with tracking number.

You now have to decide,

A) TO REPORT AS NOT RECEIVED
B) TO REPORT AS WRONG ITEM

Call your bank and ask, sometimes you in fact can do a "chargeback" - report it as an unauthorized transaction.

The seller is not going to win the dispute because you or someone at your residents never signed for it. So paypal going to rule in the buyers favor.
In order for the seller to win the dispute he/she must provide tracking number and signature conformation.. the tracking number alone is not going to win the dispute..

To the OP: I've had UPS drivers leave my packages everywhere else but my house.. Have a look around your neighboorhood. Ask around.
