This is why it’s recommended to open backup PP accounts, and transfer monies in between, this way you can still “refund” to yourself to another account when one becomes “limited”.

Good luck sir.
After the 180 days, do you have to withdraw all at once? Or can you take your time to withdraw, like split up the amounts?

Hi, have you tested it already? Did you use it to verify paypal and pay ebay fees? Are you able to withdraw funds to the card?

I think the only problem that may occur is the merchant or bank managing your friend's visa card may decline the transaction due to mismatch names.

A withdrawal involves removing funds from a bank account, savings plan, pension, or trust. In some cases, conditions must be met to withdraw funds without penalty, and penalty for early withdrawal usually arises when a clause in an investment contract is broken

My PayPal account is limited and they want ID which I don’t have. If I wait 180 days, will my money become available or is it permanently limited?

Welcome to the forum - all the best as you master stealth

Once 180 days have passed (give or take), you will need US bank account. I'm not sure if the check mailed to address option still can be done - haven't tried it in ages.

Default Withdrawing money from Stealth Paypal

Ok, in my situation, a Stealth Paypal account has already been created and is in a different name than mine. I have tried several times to link it to bank accounts in my name but now it won't take it as it once did a year or two ago with other stealth accounts. The account already has a balance on it. I'm just trying to find a way to withdraw it at this point.

Is there anything that can be done? It seems Paypal now wants the name on the bank account to match the name on the Paypal account. Or maybe another reason they aren't allowing this.

Everything is in the US. Paypal, bank, etc.

Thanks for your help!

You need paypal letter dropped to your available attached email address once you're able to move your funds. Otherwise try to hit them via "contact us" section. Meanwhile if your bank is dead thus might be problem adding new one.

After (up to) 180 days, if you have bank attached (or card for some countries wherever this option is available), you can withdraw all at once or spilt up the amounts. In some cases, PP AFS will not allow you to withdraw all at once, but only in small parts. Good luck!

If you don't supply the ID, your paypal won't become permanently limited, they will just limit your account.
In short, to continue using this account or taking out your funds, you have no choice...

It's best to phone the customer service.
In some cases, they might allow you to withdraw the money on an other paypal account. But it's not a standard rule.

Default Banks for stealth Paypal account

Up until several months ago, I was able to successfully link Ally and Chase bank accounts to different stealth US Paypal accounts with mismatched names and had no troubles doing so. Now it seems the names must match (Same name on Paypal account as bank account).

Is anyone aware of any other banks that might still work with mismatched names? Maybe Paypal can't access the name, etc?
