21 Day Hold Work Around
 

Hi Everyone,

I currently drop ship items i sell on Bonanza, I created an invoice for a buyer and she paid it.

I received an email today and the funds are on hold, Money is tight right now so I don't have any available funds to purchase items for resale outright,

Is there a work around or hack to remove the 21 day hold?

Dropshipping usually ends up pretty badly for new accounts....

Only work around is to
ship fast and upload tracking.

No. It's better for you to have some capital before jumping into an unknown territory, specially Drop Shipping.

Ship the order and mark it as 'Shipped' with tracking. After its been delivered the funds will automatically fall off to your available balance.

With PayPal time and good performance is the key, PayPal can remove the holds after a certain amount of sales and time.

I know that but i can't even purchase the item and have my supplier ship it because Paypal is holding the funds, I don't have the item on hand.

No there is no work around.

This is the problem with drop shipping

You are going to need to pay for the item to be sent by your provider or your buyer will likely open a case before the holds are released.

I set my Bonanza store to approve each order Manually, so i am not approving the orders, just messaging the buyer and asking them to purchase from my Square Marketplace store, they are accepting.

there is a workaround. i always get my money on the 7th day. long as there are no complaints.

Workaround is shipping timely and uploading tracking number...

kike all newbies your money will be holding for 21 days, so always have money when making drop ship. After make all requirements they not hold your money.

I have 2 stealth that I opened and my funds are not held...funds are available...I haven't withdrew any funds yet...but looks like I can transfer to my bank...when is it safe to remove funds? I figured just withdraw some and leave good amount in the account... ???
Both are paypal business accounts, is that why funds are available?

Its a really easy method and has been known for a while, at least the one I know and use. It takes very little time and gets $ released instantly. If youve played around with PP before you should be able to figure it out.

What about for us newbies? Mind saving us the time effort money and heartbreak we will otherwise have to invest in this really easy method? I am all ears.

Still havnt seen one of these co-called methods that works to instantly remove the hold off an ebay payment.
If there is one out there please correct me.

The previous one worked on ebay payments. I used it a few times, even though they said it doesn't.

If the money gets sent as a personal or gift payment, they will not be subject to the 21-day hold.

Never work long term. And you can't send it as a gift until the hold expires.

In any case, the OP sold something, and doesn't have the product, and can't pay for it.

Game over.

This obviously isn't sustainable, but for the first couple of transactions, you can redirect your clients or whomever to pay by personal payment option on paypal.

This was my experience as well as what the sweet lady told me on the phone. :d

On eBay this will not work as well bc of the nature of the site, but if you are invoicing or sending money requests, it can work.

Edit - A simple solution would just be to call them and they'll waive the hold or reduce it to the 7 days.

Adding tracking does this anyway (usually).

planning to buy aged usa paypal...the buyer will buy using the invoice and pay as guest...is that still go with 21 days hold ?
