Paypal hit 200/20,000 mark,need to provide EIN
 

Need some helps here!
My Paypal just hit 200/20,000 mark,they ask me to provide the EIN.
my paypal is stealth name so i am not comfortable to call them.

The page looks like this:

What tax ID number do you use when you pay your taxes?
1) I use my Social Security Number.
2)I use my Employer Identification Number. If you select this, we'll ask you to upgrade to a Business account.
)I use my Individual Tax Identification Number.

However when i choose the 2) option then page will jump to another page says:

We’re sorry
You can't upgrade your account to a business account because it is limited. We'll help you resolve the issue. or create a new account with a different email address?

what should i do? any suggestion? (I am sure my paypal is still able to transfer money not limited) Thanks:welcome;

Your first step would be to apply for an EIN. No way around it.
Do the necessary research on how to get one in your state. Plenty of info on various threads on these forums about that topic.

I do have the EIN. But when i try to submit it the website won't allow me to do it. It says "We’re sorry
You can't upgrade your account to a business account because it is limited. We'll help you resolve the issue. or create a new account with a different email address"

I have had the same issue, I have called them and they dont provide any help on this matter.

I just make a another paypal (attached to the same ebay account) and wait until they ask me for the EIN the 1st time.

so you just make another paypal with the same name and info? or you start with all new information ( bank,phone#,name,address）？Thanks
