Is it truly possible to link virtual bank account to Paypal ?
 

Hi,

I have purchased a ebay&paypal account but can't sell unless I link a bank account to Paypal. Is it possible to use a virtual banks account ? Is it necessary to use the real account ? Won't it just link my original suspended account and block ?

VBAs are only available in the US. Is this a EU account?

When you try to list, is it asking you to add a bank to PayPal?

It's perfectly possible to sell on EBay without having a bank attached to PayPal. The reason why you are getting hit with that is due to the way the seller account was created.

If you click on 'Paypal' in the my account section of ebay, does it show the paypal account is linked to ebay?

For the UK, and the stealth account i brought i needed to add bank before i could see payments. Before this paypal payments were either not showing or buyers were having problems paying.

I think generally, you'll need to have a bank account attached in the Uk before being able to received payments, this is my just my opinion from my recent experience.

In countries where withdrawal and verification is by bank account it is best practice to have a bank account attached to the PayPal.

It is however possible to receive payments into a UK PayPal account without a bank attached and not experience the issues you are describing.

The OP's issue on eBay is caused by how the seller account was created.

Yes I have often received payments on uk and non-uk Paypals without a bank or a card attached

The only time i am aware you wont see payments in paypal is when you have not verified the email address attached to the paypal account.
