do you trash your accs when reaching the 2500€ limit?
 

Hi,

When you reach the limit (could be 2500€ more or less depending on countries), paypal ask you for documents to prove you're a professionnal seller.

So what do you do, do you trash your account (and ebay acc as well) and go on with another one from zero ?

I don't trash accounts unless I can not solve the issue :) And if you rotate sales between accounts, it is possible to stay below limits.

Yeah I don't want to trash them as well, but how do you do to prove you have a company (you have to, when you reach 2500€), and send docs for EACH stealth accounts...
Paypal can easly verify f the company exists or not, based on your documents...

Keep the account if possible, if not drag add it to your "Dead Accounts" folder :)

put sole trader and they can't verify it. But yeah I trash a lot

ok so I've got to prepare myself to trash accounts a lot then :)

Let's say I want to make 40000€ per year. To stay under the 2500 limit I have to operate 16 accounts... That's huge

Paypal ask for documents to prove your a pro, you can make stealth docs to match your stealth name, but then they can verify online and will see there is no such company name.

so you don't have sole trader option or something in portugal? I don't think it will be a issue, clear the money out paypal and try a few

no unfortunately no such option in portugal. You can create a company, that's it.

I take specific steps at account creation to exclude this.

Stealth is a matter of creating in a suitable manner.

mmmmh... wondering what your extra steps are. Here in my country whatever you do you can't sell more than 2500€/yr if you're not a registered professional, and when you reach this limit on paypal they ask you for your professional documents.

Anywhere in the EU you would be required to provide suitable ID and utility bill.

As long as the utility bill shows the address on your PayPal account the ID can be from whichever country you want but again must match all your details :)

Suggest you look at using a Paypal account in a different country then.

Are you sure they only ask for ID and utility bill, not professional licence?

I thought of it but the problem is to withdraw money from PP to my foreign bank account.

Here're what exactly are the requirements:

Sometimes either PP or eB, or even both - require to provide to them Business company firm registration certificate/license.

European PP accounts THE MOST VALUABLE accs (specially from small countries where the money can be withdrawn to the CCs directly, even no bank requirement) than any other country (incl. US/CA/AU) accs because when verified on €2,5K - there're generally no limits, no SSN/NIN/TFN requirements (no "$20k/200 transations" deadline).
