What Phone service/App works to verify paypal

Just tried to add my actual bank account with paypal after verifying with vba. They asked to verify my # by calling/sending a text. The number I had on file was made up so I immediately changed it and put a textfree number but that didn't work. Also tried dingtone number and that didn't work. So question is are there any apps that will work to verify paypal instead of going out to buy another phone. It will be a pain to have multiple stealths and multiple prepaid physical phones to go with each one.

Which bank are you tryng to add? You have to create paypal with a working number and keep it active.

I was trying to add capitalone360 savers account but it went through they just wanted to verify my # on file because they said they detected a new device they dont recognize.
Well this account answered a question that I was looking for an answer. When you first open up a paypal account and try to add a Capitalone 360 savers account it doesn't work because paypal says it has to be a brick and mortar bank. So what I tried was using a VBA from a seller which went thru then a few days later I tried to add the 360 account which went thru (so that answered my experiment) They just needed to verify my #

Capital 360 is a blacklisted bank that is known to give a lot or problems even if youre able to add it due to them not liking deposits being made from mismatched names.
The main issue is with the bank youre trying to use although as mentioned before - when you create an account you should make sure to do so with an active phone number because that's always the number they'll want you to use later and adding a different one wont work.

And here's a good tip, stop making up numbers and use a real number you have access too.....laziness isn't the best way to work.

I do use real numbers by they are textfree that works with ebay verification but not with paypal so I usually don't verify a number with paypal I just leave it at 80% verify. Its just that now I was adding a new bank acct and paypal asked me to verify the number on file

Textfree is not really good on making ebay accounts unless you like 5/500 accounts. Some people have tested confirmed that more 5/500 are made.

Tracphones work really good but it wont be free.

Sorry to say OP but you won't be able to add that bank account until its been a few months that you've added the new number. Takes time for them to allow you to use it as a verification method. I use the burner app on iPhone, just keep renewing the numbers and dont let them expire and you'll be able to use it to get text messages from PayPal
