Paypal limited, won't release my funds

Hi Everyone,

I have a Paypal account that got Limited a month ago, I emailed Paypal this info and they still will not release my $200, guess i will take action on them,

I am respectfully requesting that the hold on my funds/account be lifted. I am not necessarily requesting that my account be re-opened or allowed to continue to use the PayPal service, as I have already taken my business to your largest competitor and I am no longer in need of PayPal’s services.

I have previously requested a review/appeal of my case which was denied. Although I still disagree with the decision to deny my appeal I will abide by it – however because I feel that holding my funds for ### days for a non-fraudulent violation of PayPal’s Acceptable Use Policy is excessive, and perhaps a punitive abuse of power, I will be filing complaints with the following agencies on Wednesday morning, May #nd, #### if I am not satisfied with PayPal’s response to this request to release my funds:

(agencies in the states that I reside or have a business presence in)

The California Office of the Attorney General
Consumer Complaint Against A Business/Company | State of California - Department of Justice - Kamala D. Harris Attorney General

The Washington State Office of the Attorney General
https://fortress.wa.gov/atg/formhand...laintForm.aspx

The Florida Office of the Attorney General
Florida Attorney General - Citizen Services Contact Form

The Arizona Office of the Attorney General
Florida Attorney General - Citizen Services Contact Form

Additionally:
The United States Federal Reserve
http://www.federalreserveconsumerhel...nfo.cfm?info=#
(I understand that PayPal does not operate as a “bank” which is precisely why they may be interested in such complaints)

The Better Business Bureau:
https://odr.bbb.org/odrweb/public/complaintlink.aspx

All complaints will be filed “online” Wednesday morning March #st, #### and written copies will also be sent via certified postal mail.

Thank you for your time again in looking into this matter.I am respectfully requesting that the hold on my funds/account be lifted. I am not necessarily requesting that my account be re-opened or allowed to continue to use the PayPal service, as I have already taken my business to your largest competitor and I am no longer in need of PayPal’s services.

Thanks

I then got an email from Paypal a Day later and this is there response:

What worked in the past, may not always work later.

Be prepared but at the same time, be polite in case they decide to hold the funds forever.

I agree, Paypal will see a trend of people using the same template to request every funds that they hold.

Re: Paypal limited, won't release my funds

If I was in your position, at this point I would just let this $200 sit away for 6 months (like some savings on the side), and be glad they said 'You will receive an email around Sep 22 2016 advising you that your funds are available for withdrawal'.

They gave you a date they will release the funds (roughly), they could easily have held the funds indefinitely.

Also worth noting, they do tend to drip feed you the funds every 30 days (depending on the circumstance, and last transaction date etc.)

So just take a step back, your money wont disappear into thin air.

Yes they have twitter and facebook. Yes they will respond. You would tell them because they are Paypal executives only same ones you are emailing not just a customer rep. Worth a try.

Do I need to make a Facebook or Twitter account with a profile pic before messaging them?
