Stupid new guy with questions
 

I need help, because I can't seem to find the answer to this question.

So I have been digging around this forum for a little while now, and I am going to list my first item on my first ever stealth account. I'm starting out selling a book for $0.25 and even though I will lose money I am going to keep selling them at a small loss to build up feedback.

My question is, how do I make my first withdrawal from PayPal? Do I link my bank account up with them? I am pretty sure that's not what I am supposed to do, but I am unsure how to proceed. Do I transfer the money from my stealth PayPal to my non stealth one?

Welcome to the forum.

Everyone has to start somewhere so your question isn't 'stupid'.

Yes you will need a bank account that will accept mismatch name deposits.

You cannot withdraw from PayPal without a bank account, you CANNOT withdraw to a VBA - these are merely for verification.

Avoid transferring of funds between accounts, linking is one word to read up on the forum. It's one you need to understand, to stop the crossing over of accounts, log all your IPs etc.

Thank's for the solid answer, everyone on here has been extremely helpful so far!

Right now I "bank" with Walmart, and I know from experience I can link the Walmart account to an Ebay account. It comes with an account number and a routing number and I get my paychecks and tax returns direct deposit.

So should I go down and get another account in my name for PayPal only? If PP get's pissed at me can they "reach into" my bank account and take money? Should I keep the Walmart account empty as often as possible if this is the case?

And maybe I am too paranoid, but I'm not fully aware of PayPal's capabilities.

Those reloadable credit cards with an attached account number are for the most part blacklisted so dont count on being able to use it smoothly.
Do things properly. Get a regular bank account and use that with the account. Shouldn't be any issue getting a bank account if you live in the US.
