Adding Bank to Paypal

I have added my bank to my Paypal which hasn't been used with any other Paypal before and I have just received an email off Paypal stating the bank has refused them to use the account for funds, My account is with Barclays does this mean i can still withdraw to my account but i just cant add funds from the savings account?

It's a standard email that they send when adding a savers account to Paypal. The reason it is sent is because the bank refused to set up the dd mandate, due to it being a savings account.

Assuming the account is still attached then you can withdraw to it.

Yup! - You can withdraw to the account, but you cant withdraw from the account (though the latter reveals your name to PayPal so should be avoided anyway).
