EIN and Stealth
 

I just recently got an email from Paypal saying to provide a ssn or they will limit my account. My sales is close to 20k and I have about 220 transactions.

I was thinking of getting a EIN and putting it on the account. My question is since the account is a stealth account, the name and address is not my real one. When they send the 1099 how will I receive it since my address on the paypal is not where I live?

They don't mail out the 1099....I believe you get it electronically or you download it from PayPal.

Oh ok, will it matter if the name and address is not real but my EIN is my real info?

I got a EIN by opening a LLC company. But its only for 1ebay/paypal only. Im still thinking a way to use few ebay/paypal. Its going to be a headache if i need to open 3 LLC for EIN for 3 of my ebay &paypal. =(

What I have read the EIN DBA name have to match your paypal business name. That is it. Irs doesn't give out any other info then that

So you could do sole proprietor dba as XYZ, make sure paypal business name is XYZ
