My ppal, 1 alert says: 'some options not avail. until tax info submitted'.
 

Ive sold 500$ within the last 6 months on my 3yr ppal eb acct. My ppal is 100% verified.

Upon logging into the ppal website to refund a eb buyer their was an alert top right page syi g some functions not available until tax info given.

I did not receive any email requests. I havent even been selling lately.

Normal? It will go away on its own?

Has it blocked incoming payments ? I have seen that before it gets limited for the year . Might get the request tomorrow

I am not sure. It was only a few days after a successful eb payment that i noticed the alert for taxinfo. Guess ill have to list something to check that.

What in the world would they need tax info on a resting ppal??
A year or two ago i did get the email request but, was selling at that time. Didnt come close to the 200/20k, bgw...and i immedialtely ceased selling and waited it out until reset.

Its probably projected that, at this rate of incoming payments, you will very quickly hit the threshold. So to avoid limitation in future, they just want to get all of this out the way now.

Well they're making a damn good example out of me..
Ive only sold maybe, less than 1k for the year.

As soon as the new year begins they'll be requesting after my first 2 items sold.

I would suggest starting by selling cheap items then work your way up in sales prices .. its not hard to get close to 20k b4 being asked if slow and steady .. long lapses in selling then a big amount outta the blue might trigger it ..

Actually, the ppal eb acct are solid over 3 years old, fully verified. Never a problem..only sold here n there and lightly.

Ill look further.

when you dont sell for a period there is some concerns when you start back up i assume you waited awhile without listing anything ??

Long break then listed 1 item under 100. The item was faulty so let the buyer keep the item and refunded w/o eb involved. Thats when i noticed the alert.

Well i have not bothered to investigate further as to what the ppal alert requesting my update of tax info.

And, no, their has not been any such email sent from ppal.
