EIN without LLC?
 

So I know you are allowed one EIN per individual then as many as you'd like per business/LLC. However when you file for an EIN as an LLC they don't check if you've ever filed to become an LLC. Does anyone have any experience with this? What would happen if you file for an EIN for an LLC and never filed your Articles of Organization?

If you file an LLC it becomes public record. If you plan on going longer route then you want that information to be there and match... I know once you have near 1 million in sales you will get a personalized telephone call from paypal accounting department to go over your information. Could be sooner or could be later, but I speak for my experience and it has happened twice. Both times they looked up information via state online and it matched what I provided pp.
