Lifting Eu limit
 

Hi all I called PayPal so I could get the limit taken off they said they had done it when I checked the next day the limit was still there I called today they said there's something wrong it will be done in 24 hours is this normal !

That isn't unheard of. PayPal is not exactly a well oiled machine.

What made you ring them? Usually its best to just let the automated process review docs.

Hi James because I been waiting 2 weeks for them to do it . Do you think they had found my old limited account

Have you gone over the EU receiving limit?

Jonny, if you used any of the details (address, name, DOB, IP address, etc) that would link you to the old account, then they will find and link it for sure, especially when they're already reviewing the account.

If you have not reused any of that data, then you don't have to worry about linking.

Like James said, though, it's usually best to let pp do their thing and get back to you instead of calling in.

Do they check the same info,ID etc on a business account?For a Ltd company?

When did you submit the documents?
Have you reached the hard limit where you cannot receive any more funds? Or can you still receive funds?

As James indicated - you could be linked especially if pp does a manual crossreference....and if you call them again and again, might increase chance of doing just that....just saying

What if I get to the 1900 and the European limit don't lift what should I do

if you have not reached the receiving limit then you should know its taking 30 days + for them to lift limits on accounts.

when you reach the limits, it gets lookaed at in a few days.
