PayPal contacting your bank for information

Hi guys just wanted to know if PayPal can contact your bank and ask for information to do with the account ? For example name of the person whose name the account is in ? Curious because I use a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name that is not the same as my eBay or Paypal name .. Additionally how do PayPal deal with cases where they are owed money from you but you unlink your bank account

Usually not, I never had PayPal contact bank. They like using bots there more, the cost of doing this would be way too much. Unless u did something really bad.
