What amount is safe to withdraw?
 

What amount is safe to withdraw I just sent a $999 withdrawal to my savings for the first time from a new stealth for the first time. I would've like to withdraw the full $2600 that I had but didn't. Any advice on that? left $1600 in the paypal and it went through no problems. Could I have withdrawn say $2200 with no problem? Left 400?

The most I like to withdraw any given day is $490.

I try not to go above $500 per day.. above that and you're asking for an account review.

For real? I've done the full amount ,$1200 on an account with PayPal prepaid MasterCard bank attached and all. Obviously names need to match for that to occur and and the PayPal prepaid MasterCard needs SSN to validate. I just did $999 with no issue as stated earlier. Did I fudge up?

It also depends on the account.

The more your account is verified and vetted by PayPal.. the more you can do.. so you're probably okay.

Note: I've had accounts where I could take in 5k a day and withdraw just the same without any trouble.. for years.

Sometimes you'll get an error message trying to withdraw, or there will be a long pause, this is just a polite way PayPal is saying, this is too much.

For most accounts, I try to stay at $250-300 a day. Seems to stay under their radar and doesn't look like you are in a rush to empty the account.

$490 is my favorite! I always stick to under $500!

I withdraw daily but that was AFTER slowly withdrawing every few days then every 2 days then everyday..

I guess it all depends on the account, but I withdraw $1500-$2k per day from my two most active (stealth) business accounts and I've never had any issues. Once Paypal trusts you, you can operate your accounts like any other business would. Withdrawing only $490 per day would not allow me to conduct business on the scale that I do.

@taonola - you can withdraw as frequently as you need to, once Paypal trusts you

@OP - Be careful withdrawing $999 repetitively because that's what got my Bank of America accounts closed. Paypal didn't care at all, but BoA had a major issue because it looked like money laundering to them. I was withdrawing $999 4 or 5 times per week for about 3 months before BoA closed my accounts. There's nothing wrong with large withdrawals. What I basically do now is withdraw all but $200 on a daily basis, so I'm not withdrawing the same amount every time.

Answer depends on how much are you taking in on this account on a daily basis?

As a general rule I leave at least 10% of the balance to handle any unexpected chargebacks/refunds.

You said it was a new stealth, so I'm guessing the account is no longer than a few months old. Sometimes you'll be able to withdraw 1k or so and then you'll get limited lol. I would do the same amount you've been doing and after a month or so then I would increase by a few hundred, and then to a full thousand a month after.
