Withdrawing money with a confirmed bank account
 

Ok quick question...I have a one year old paypal with a confirmed bank account. Why is it giving me an error saying "We need more information or something" basically wanting me to call in? Done called in once to add the bank account a year ago..Will they ask me new questions to withdraw aswell? This is really annoying.

What bank account did you use?
Are you consistent with the IP address youre using to login to the account?

Yep. Wont share bank but its a big one.

Has there been activity on the account?

Is the amount large?

Quite a few reports of higher amounts getting this type of messgae but lower amounts work.

Is the phone active on the account?

Yes. And I called and the rep asked security questions. Fortunately I guessed right. The amount was over $150 and I asked why and all she said was it was a security thing. The account has been inactive for 4 months. BUT another account of mine is saying the same thing. And that one has not been inactive at all its very odd.

Perhaps accidentally cleared cookies during the inactive period?

No clearing cookies. I honestly think rules have changed. Before when adding a bank account you literally almost everytime had to call in. Now you can add pretty much anything. But getting the money out is a whole different ball game. ya feel me?

Accidently clearing cookies on an account deemed inactive by yourself seemed strange?

Yes, I agree. paypal game changes so darn often.

yep paypal does change...but its a good thing they change..cause when they change they make mistakes which then in turn we exploit ayyy...

I figured it out. I already had a a bank account added that I called to add when I first made account. Then when I went to add the other bank account I am sure that triggered to call in again to withdraw money, so moral of story is add one GOOD bank account and thats it haha. Otherwise you will have to call all the time.
