Paypal limited help, please
 

My paypal has been limited because paypal noticed significant changes in your account activity. I call paypal see whats going on. They ask me if im using VPN or anything to change the IP to log on paypal? So my question is paypal will know if you are using VPN? Can i tell them yes, im using VPN software or no? Also do i need to use vpn for paypal? Please advise. Thank you

They can see when you're using a proxy/VPN yes, But that's not the reason why you were limited. They say they've noticed significant changes, meaning you probably started getting more money than usual. They'll ask for supplier information / what the payments are for / ID stuff like that. If you can provide it then send it over. If not then you'll have to start fresh with a new account

If you were limited because of the VPN then you're probably using a public VPN that has a blacklisted IP with Paypal so you were linked.

Are you actually US based?

Before you made the account did you check other options for using the internet?

Options usually exist for most users. You may also be lucky.

My paypal is limited, my ebay still looks fine. So the ebay is still good to use? Or they will ban my ebay account too?

Your eBay could well be fine. Limited PayPal accounts dont lead to limited eBay accounts all the time these days

You would need to work out how to take payment without a PayPal though

Can i buy a stealth paypal or create new paypal to use with the ebay accounts? I hope the ebay accounts are ok.

That wont work. They would just link and limit the new PayPal account

I called them about it cuz i try to solve it. Right now they told me once the last 10 transaction tracking# show delivered. They can help me restore the account. But i dont know if thats true.

Can you connect a Good running eBay account to a old Paypal account? I know the companies split so would this be an issue?

This has been discussed way too much already....and the consensus is that if you attempt this, the PayPal will eventually go down and possibly the Ebay. So as with everything, proceed with caution.

Thank you all for responding so fast! I've read a lot of success stories on this issue that are very recent throughout these Forums, I have a good eBay account running but the Paypal account was permanently banned. How are merchant accounts? Which merchant account service is the best and easiest to sign up for? I typically sell electronics.

I have few accounts like that =) ebay looks fine but paypal is limited. Im still looking for a way to use the ebay accounts. But some people say its fine to open new paypal and use it with the ebay. Some people say the ebay account will be banned later on if paypal is limited. so confusing.

Do You think its worth the risk? Since You have multiple accounts why don't you just test one out with a new Paypal? I have one Legal account going and the eBay is fantastic but the paypal is limited, i need the account so i don't know if its worth the risk.... Have you tried opening merchant accounts with those eBay accounts?

I will try when i have info i need to create new paypal. But right now im still trying to get restore from paypal, because they said they could restore my accounts once they see the orders delivered. I dont know if they will restore. I need try before opening new paypals.

Make new Accounts....just sitting there praying is just a waste of time, nothing wrong with making back-up accounts.

I totally agree, work you way up until you have 10 backups..then nothing can stop you..

The thing is, its a pain in the ass to make multiple accounts and have to go through hell for the first 3 months and make new bank accounts and this and that. I would Purchase an account from here if i knew how to run it correctly. Any suggestions?

Is it possible for you to just list an eBay item and put in your new paypal account as the paypal payment option? Or whats that about the paypal secondary email?
