Activity: 0% Longevity: 58% | | PayPal releases $100 and keeps the rest on hold 21 days
Has any body experienced Your PayPal "$100 release amount per month"
Why are all my new recently open accounts, every time I get an eBay sale it says this.
By the way forget having to ship and getting positive feedback afterwards, it doesn't matter funds and held for 21 days. Got an invoice? It doesn't matter, all goes on hold for 21 days. PayPal should just drop out of the race with all this confusion we already had 21 days holds OR less if you delivered the goods, I guess they've removed this completely.
I used to get funds released in as little as 3 - 6 days tops! Now it seems impossible.
I first noticed it last month and all my sales ever since from newly created accounts get this message.

If a business account is there a proper bank account attached or a VBA?
How old are the accounts?
Did you ever get any message about a rolling reserve? |

Accounts have 2 real accounts and the other is VBA.
21 days holds for all those accounts, only $100 are release per month.
"It looks like your payments for the month have gone above your release amount. Payments above $100.00 USD become available 21 days after being received.
If you have signed up for PayPal Here for accepting in-person payments, any card-swiped, Chip & Pin, Chip & Signature and Contactless transactions will be available immediately regardless of the release amount. If you expect continuous growth and have not already done so, you can request an increase with only a few clicks."
Accounts are only 60 days old.

Has anyone ever had funds released sooner when confirming delivery or positive feedback is received, when PayPal is temporarily holding payments received above your release amount?

Just make personal paypal accounts and than upgrade to business after the account is beyond the 90 day point. I do this with all my accounts, and as mentioned i just wait 2 or 3 days after delivered for funds to be released

And you upgraded, because I did so on one account and they still added this crap.
Because I had to wait 21 days regardless of eBay's, tracking delivery OR Both, they always make me wait out 21 days.

No, the release limit accounts will not be released before 21 days. You can try to increase the limit, that usually bumps it up to $500. Just keep making the business accounts. The release limits will vary.

I have several business accounts...NOT ALL will give you that $100 limit. Some start much higher. I have had one start at $125,000. This was a discussion months ago that I was involved in with another guy, back when they started doing that release amount stuff. One account that I had, had no golds then magically one day they sent me an email saying "starting today, the way we release payments to you is changing" and then I had a $100 limit. You have to sell and ESTABLISH your account. Once you start receiving payments, you will get bumped or REQUEST INCREASE and it will bump to 500. You can only request increase every 30 days. Just keep selling! It will automatically bump you before the 30 days is up if you make enough money. When the one account had $100 limit, I increased to 500 in 2 days. Then 3 days later, the system automatically bumped me to 2000. 2 days later, it bumped to 4300. The next month, it bumped to 8600. Just keep selling. DONT ditch the account!

Because I had to wait 21 days regardless of eBay's, tracking delivery OR Both, they always make me wait out 21 days. | If your release amount is 500 and you sell 600 in one sale...you will get 500 and the remaining 100 will be held for 21 days. It doesnt matter if the item is delivered or you get positive feedback or whatever. It will be held for 21 days no matter what. If you get another payment after that is held, the new payment will also be held for a full 21 days.
EVEN IF you get bumped up to say 1000 release limit....any funds that you had being held will still be held until that 21 days is up.

Does this hold still apply if you exceeded the hold threshold of 90 account plus over $250 in sales and 25 transaction

Just putting this here as someone might find it useful.
I have a personal account and still received a similar message.
Mine says "up to 21 days" so i guess it could be sooner.
also must complete the 3 requirements set by paypal, for example mine are:
Make 5 transactions without any buyer disputes, claims, or returns.
Receive $100.00 in payments for goods and services.
Be a seller, receiving payments with PayPal, for at least 60 days, from the date you receive your first payment.
So i think waiting 90 days then upgrading to business account isn't going to resolve this?
