The credit card verification system used by PP is currently unavailable....."
 

I googled it, I looked for it on here, but only after waiting a day (most messages like this aren't issues after an hour, or a day max...) but now a more close look shows that it's not a new problem...

For those like me that just "come back later", on this error message, there's nothing wrong with their system, it's more likely that the balance is lower on your card than you think it is. I was CERTAIN that I had more than 1.95 on mine, well, after seeing the "solution" that worked for a few people, I checked it and sure enough I was just under.

So if you see this error message, don't wait for the "system" to be up and running again, tripple check that balance on your card no matter how sure you are.
