MiFi Data Usage
recently i've been getting a lot of recycled IP's from my home router so i decided to invest in one of those MiFi box i hear mentioned around the forum.
Got the Alcatel Y800 and a 6GB EE data sim just to test it out.
Immediately when i connect it to my laptop with no internet open the data usage just flies up at an insane rate!!
Within 10 seconds it was on 500KB's. Is this normal? IF not how can i stop this from happening?
Any mifi or dongle experts please advise lol |
