Credit card expired
 

Let's say , Credit card in PP got expired and unable to add new as the owner of the card doesn't want to renew it with bank .
So the VCCs which are being sold here can be used for renewal ? If yes , which one ?

do i definitely need to renew my vcc in paypal if I dont use it, what is the risk to get limited with expired vcc , if there is no risk then it s pointless to buy new vcc just to renew it , paypal is 2 months old - with good history, withdrawing money to bank account...

It makes the account stronger having a VCC added

You must be careful now because paypal is changing rules.

Try to make your account as strong as possible with them now. As JamesNorth’ said add another vcc. Make the account look as good as you can.

Well paypal was using my $50 debit card to pay shipping as balance in paypal can only be transferred to bank, so when that ran low I got a message that not enough in account to pay a $13 shipping fee, so I added a new vanilla visa and tried again. same results so I deleted old visa vanilla and added a new $50 one as preferred pay (it doesn't have a selection to add paypal balance as preferred). Then tried again to pay $13 fee with $50 visa vanilla. SAME RESULTS again? So it looks like I will have to go to my bank and get a new debit card to add to this.

My stealth credit card I've had linked to PayPal expired last month and now I can't list anything on Ebay until I enter a new card.

You should also add VCC due to the strong security of PayPal.
