CC name and PP name missmach
 

Few threads with a completely different info... So does PP can see the name of the credit card holder or not????

Talking about NON-UK and NON-USA account.

Lets say registered paypal name is JOHAN SMITH.

1. Would paypal accept for verification and withdraving VISA credit card with a completely different name on it? Lets say PP name is JOHAN SMITH. And name on a credit card is MARK BENSON. ZIP code would mach. Would it work or not?

(Before you start- yes, my country can do CC withdraw if it is VISA).

2. Lets say we have a paypal account with a registered name JOHAN SMITH. Lets say we have a VISA credit card with a name MARK SMITH. The name is different but surname is the same. ZIP code would mach. Would it work?

Paypal cannot see the name of the cardholder unless you give it to them...the card does NOT need to match on the name.

1. PayPal can't see name on the card. There are no technical possibilities to reveal it.
2. Address match does not matter, PP withdrawals will work. Also you can use non-AVS card to be 100% sure that it is not an issue.
3. Name mismatch may be the issue, some banks don't like when card name and pp name (the one that is in the load operation description) differs.

Ok, ordered a new card in my bank, will find out soon is it working or not the way i want it to work :)

No they can't.
I have a few accounts registered with gift cards that have no name on them, without any issues.

Real CC and virtual VCC are to different things. What VCC is able, CC can have a problems. Im using VCC sometimes too, yes they accept different anything, but we are talking about real CC.

As im banned from PP already with my real details and my every new PP acc gets banned, i made there a work-around. Applied for a new CC in a bank but changed places the name and surname. It worked, nobody spot the mistake and now i have a CC with a name and surname changed places. Created PP account the same way, add this card and it works for withdraw so far... Usually with real details they bans me immediately.

But im going to order a couple more of these cards and will take a shot with a completely different names on PP. Again- we are talking about real bank cards, NOT a VCC :)

Again, ifos are accurate on the forum: PayPal cannot see the personal infos associated to the CC.

I have no problem whatsoever with a CC in my banned name surname address on an IT PayPal (withdrawing too).

CC shall be in your real details. You might have serious problem with the bank/law otherwise.

Just in case anyone would be looking for info in a future:

Real bank credit card with no problems was add to the paypal account with a totally different name and second name, different adress and different zip code. One interesting detail- they accepted the card even with a misstake in a expiration date. Looks date is not important too. So what is important is credit card number and CCV2 code. All the rest is not important info. Case closed :)
