21 Day hold
 

I have over $1000 in PayPal with holds on payments. I have all the tracking numbers showing delivered. It's been a couple days since they've been delivered, am I going to have to wait the full 21 days.

Funds are usually released 3 business days after delivery is confirmed online.

Log into PP and send them a message telling them to release your money. This works sometimes.

The less direct contact with paypal the better. You dont need your account coming under scrutiny - especially not with that kind of money sitting in it awaiting to be released.
Besides - its been only 2 days since confirmed as delivered so it hasn't even met the minimum requirements for being released anyway - calling in will accomplish nothing positive.

I would be patient and not risk calling them.

If its a business account, you will have to wait the full 21 days, regardless of tracking.

Can you or anyone confirm this is not the case with a personal account? That they fall off quicker, within about 3 days of delivery like normal? Might call and get my new business account downgraded;after being out of business 4 months an additional 21 days seems aweful. Sad they'd penalize business accounts.. Anyone know why that is the case?

Usually after 3 days after delivery they will be released automatically. I would not call them to bring attention to your account.
