Does Paypal keep copies of IDs?
 
When your account gets limited and they ask for proof of ID, do they keep that stuff on file or once you send it in they destroy it?

Nobody here can say for sure.

But I'll say with 99% certainty they keep records of all documentation you send to them. Technology companies keep huge databases on their customers. It's just what they do.

Its very very likely that they will keep a copy of everything you ever send them

Paypal by default should be considered to keep a copy of everything - it's so easy these days :(
