Vanilla Visa Question
 

I was searching the forum and I saw an old thread saying how he can get as much vanilla visa cards as he needs , and he only needed to pay the activation fee

is there anyway that i can also get visa cards without putting the minimum 20 -25 bucks on the card and only paying the activation fee?

I am guessing it was a debit card but you have to register the card with your SS.

What you really want is a GIFT CARD and in my area you only have $25.00 and $25-$500 options.

I believe when he says he has no cash on them he is meaning he already cashed the card out. AKA, bought stuff.

There is no option with Vanilla Visa to just pay the activation fee. You have to load at least $20 on the card and pay the $4.95 activation fee.

You must have misread it.
There is no point in activating a card for $2-3 without putting funds on it because if there are no funds on it then it is useless - paypal/ebay wont be able to charge the card and it cannot be used to for anything.
He probably meant the total cost per card is just the activation cost since once the card is used for the verification you can spend the funds on it and recoup that part of the cost ending up with a total cost per card of only the activation charge.

@ProblemChild, you can use the balance on the card for other purchases like gas, groceries, etc so it's not a waste

Vanilla Visa Cards ARE NOT DEAD despite what everyone here thinks and you can still cash out from Walmart.com with these. in my post i was saying that i cash out some of my stealth paypal accounts by buying visa/master vanilla cards from walmart.com which cost $3 per card. I turn the cards into CASH by using Square.com card swipe which is connected to my bank account so I can use it for more than just.. gas, groceries, etc

Once the cards have $0.00 ( no cash on them ) i recycle the visa / master vanilla gift card and us it as a debit card for verification when creating a new stealth paypal.. Theres no need for ebay to charge the card bcuz Im not using it as a VCC & Paypal doesnt charge the card when "adding a debit/credit card" to your stealth paypal... so it that a Clear answer :bounce::bounce:

how can you use the card to verify ur acct tho without the 1.95???
