Buy items on Seller account
 

Once my I add a new credit card to my new seller's account, (EB and PP), how can I purchase items from my new account? My PP shipping address for anything I buy/win on EB is <obviously> is not were I would want my purchase to be shipped to...

Many members here would suggest you not use seller accounts for purchases. If your at a point where you have multiple seller accounts and your not dependent on the one seller account then I guess it's ok. But, why not create an account for purchases?

Make a separate buyers account or add in an address you do have access to to the eBay

Most eBay sellers will ship items to the address on file by default

How do I "make a separate buyers account"... ? I would have the exact same "shipping address" issue with another stealth account. What would make the "Buyers account" any different??

Buyers accounts are fine to use a previously banned address with most the time. They are not under the same level of scrutiny.

Just run it like a new stealth account

Add an address that you do have access to onto the eBay seller account and therefore you can have items delivered to that address and then collect them from that address

Thanks for your answer. I don't have an issue with making a new account as you suggest (with a previous banned address), but my IP address would be the same and the new stealth buyers account it just purchased a successfully set up... Sorry for the newbie q's

You would need to get a new IP address

Lots of posts on the forum outlines the ways that can be done pretty easily.

Phone tethering works for many people, gets you a new IP address within seconds.

If your normal IP hasn't been banned totally you can use that. Many times, like my restricted eBay account, they dont have a problem at all with me logging in as always and buying and using my original PP account. They just wont allow any postings on the account. That way I can use my PP and my true shipping address. If you are using 24vc then all you have to do is NOT login to IP you are leasing and running your stealth account on. That way you will gaining an IP from your internet provider. If you cant buy OR sale on a restricted account then IF you had a static IP then you would want a new IP address when creating a new buyer account. But anyway, you might want to check your original accounts ability to purchase, it may save you some time and money.:sleepy:

Thanks. Good info. But I can't even get past the log-in page on the original account. As soon I get that account's password in I get the "Suspended account note screen".
