1800 Limit Approaching 2500
 

I would like this limit issue clarifying please as it has been some time since I submitted Docs and the screen flow appears to have changed.

I have just breached the 1800 limit on this account. The email has also been received.

I have a notification of "Some account information is missing or incorrect."

In the Resolution Centre I am seeing:

"Provide information about your account. Why?
You have 134 days to resolve before your account becomes restricted."

I can still send and receive and all is okay.

It is the 134 day reference that puzzles me.

If I leave this account alone and receive no more, will the account still be restricted in 134 days?

I will ensure I will not exceed the 2500 limit.

I am happy to leave this account alone with no more sales, however will they still restrict it if I do nothing in 134 days?

Yes they will donkeykong2012, the docs to send in are achievable, I had to ring in as well, just made sure I had all the original details the account was made with to hand to quote to them before I rang in, all they asked me was what the original phone number, reeled it off to them, they checked the previously uploaded docs and I was good to go.

I have all the details to hand.

Not sure how to play this for the best as it is not a critical account.

For the sake of argument.

If I left it and received no more sales for the 134 days quoted, and then the account became restricted....

Is it still the simple matter of uploading Docs to reinstate?

if you have already received the countdown stating you have 134 days left to supply documents, then yes it will be limited in 134 days time, even if you do nothing more on this account , it will still happen.

The only time you can avoid this, is if you stop receiving money BEFORE the £1900 message appears, then your receiving limit resets the following again.

no you cannot add documents after that time. you will be warned when you are near the 134 days that your account will be closed.
Then no documents can be added after that point.

In that case the clock is ticking as the email was received today.

If I read this correctly then you have already added the docs to the PayPal?

How long ago did you do it and have try check under the view limits tabs that they have everything that they need?

To Clarify

The email was received this evening - 1800 breached.

In the Res Centre it says 134 Days till Restriction.

Still able to send and receive.

No Docs have been sent/Uploaded.

My initial query was concerning the 134 day reference.

I was under the impression that as long as 2500 was not breached then there was no issue. As obviously if I left this account alone 2500 would never be breached in a calender year. But apparently not.

As I say this and the EBay account is not a critical account but I would not like to lose it.

Just read my first post again.

When I said it has been a long time since I submitted Docs I meant in general.

Does that change any previous advice given please in terms of timescales?

The email and notification was only received this evening.

My opening post referred to the fact that I have not submitted Docs for accounts in general for sometime.

Ahh I get what you mean!

When you go over the trigger then you do have to upload docs or they will limit the account

Yes so you are finding out the best course of action from this point going forward then. Well as I said it is perfectly possible to submit the docs and then your account won't be limited. All eBay/PayPal accounts have value, it is worth working to keep your account going, everyone needs more than just the one main account in case anything happens to permanently limit your main account. You still have the account you have been nurturing in the background to take over from the lost one.

when you hit this limit it takes them a lot quicker to look at the documents.
