21 Day Holds have got to stop?
 

Hi Everyone,

I have a ebay account with a feedback of only 7,


My first sale was April 21st and i still have holds on every payment received its driving me crazy, never have no money because PayPal holds it all. not sure how much longer there gonna keep holding my funds. its past 90 days the hold should be gone for now

I am not sure if this is only for ebay, I may try selling on Bonanza and see if the holds are lifted.

and i may try and ask my buyers if they can leave 100% feedback.

If you cannot operate your business with these holds, might as well stop right now...

25 sales 250 in sales and 90 days...all three must be met to have no holds.

If your provide/upload tracking to eBay, your money is released within a couple of days after the tracking shows delivered to your customer.

Seem simple enough, right? :)

yes but i drop ship all my items i sell, I'm working on a website through Shopify so hopefully it will work out and i won't have to deal with PayPal anymore.

Now Paypal will reapply holds even after eBay lifts them when u fulfill the criteria.

Those are the minimum requirements.
There are no guarantees the holds will be removed once those conditions are met.

just got this message from paypal today,

We’re happy to let you know that you are now an established seller with us. Payments you receive from today onwards will usually be instantly available to you, and money currently in your pending balance should be available within 21 days of the transaction date.

I have gotten so used to PayPal 21 day hold policy, I don't even notice it anymore. Just got to adjust your business model to this 21 day hold period. Besides, I would say the amount of money they hold is accurate in that it matches with customer complaints or returns.

While I don't like 21 day holds, it's better than the alternative.

Alternative = More scrutiny on new users

It's good you have your released. I would suggest have a couple backup PayPal accounts as well because you never know what PayPal is going to do next.

well my Paypal just got limited, just great, what do i do now?
not sure what caused it to get limited, it could have been because i kept placing orders with walmart and everytime walmart would cancel the order.

there wanting photo ID, Proof of Address, Supplier Information, Provide Invoice

Not only that i have $1,232.00 in there and they wont release it now, so pissed off!
