Does changing the tracking restart hold (Advanced Question)
 

OK so I have a few stealths. Good limits. Things are going good. Still has 21 day hold. Doing everything by the book. No problems. I am in a situation I am wondering if anyone knows the answer. I will try to explain it as simple as I can.

I sold a cell phone to a buyer. Lets call him (Guy A)
Couple days later I sold a tablet to a buyer. (Guy B)

Guy A and Guy B actually live in the same city. Different zip codes but same city. I start entering my trackings and such and mistakenly enter Guy A tracking onto the account for Guy B. Airhead moment. I dont realize until I get an email about funds being available for Guy B. Im thinking how is that possible. When I look I realize my mistake. I looked at Guy B actual tracking and hes scheduled to get his tablet tomorrow anyway. My question is if I change the tracking now does that reset the 3 day paypal counter. The funds are currently available in my account. If I change the tracking will it go back to pending? Will I be causing more trouble doing something or should I just leave it?

Any help or insight greatly appreciated.

I would not do anything at all unless someone complains.

If you have an INR case, then add the correct tracking number then.

Odds are, neither buyer will ever notice or care as long as they received the items.

Once the funds are released then changing the tracking number does not restart the hold.

I would just leave it.

Leave it, its not worth changing. The "Risk>Reward" does apply and def not worth the risk.
