Using an established EIN
 

So I got the PAYPAL message about giving them a SSN or an EIN. I have an established EIN for a company I own but is not active. Can I use this EIN if it is not from the same state as the stealth address? Should I establish a new EIN?

Makes no difference at all what state or address your business is in.

Just upgrade your account to business and add the Business name and number and all will be well with the paypal world.

So I can use a EIN that I have already set up for my existing business? This business is in NJ but my stealth is Florida, no problem there?

Does PAYPAL check addresses? What if I get a 1099 for sellling overe the PP limits where would that be sent to stealth address or EIN address?

1099 Is useless for anything really but you view/print it off of paypal.

No place to even attach it to any tax form. All it is a GROSS amount of money collected via CREDIT card from that one processor. It have little relationship to your income and taxes.
