Paypal hold (Personal account vs. Premier)
 
I have few pp accounts, 2 of them I upgraded to premier, all others are personal.

I have noticed that with those premier accounts, I'm starting to get money held for 21 days for payments higher than $100. The lower amounts payments are passing through, higher amounts are going on 21 days reserve.

With personal accounts, I'm not getting this type of reserve with high value payments

Are premier accounts more prone to hold and reserves?

PayPal has started to do this as of recent, any time you receive higher than normal funds....PayPal will hold them, at some point they will stop, but lets say you start to receive $400 at a time for a sale...PayPal will hold that $400, and so forth.

Answer idea about other metrics?
How long approx will this last?
Will they send you an email about that?
I'm selling digital items, client mostly buys the item and never answers again (if I ask to release the hold from his side.), would it it be worth it to contact paypal for that asking to manually release or they're too stubborn about it.

Digital Items are the Riskiest items to sell, if your customer starts contacting PayPal for releases, the first thing PayPal is going to do is look at what your selling. I don't think you want PayPal looking into those type of items....
