Any issues with release after 21 days?
 

So long story short I sold higher dollar item. Cant for the life of me find receipt now. Can probably get a copy if really really needed. Just figured I'd wait the 21 days. Its at about day 18 right now. I have never waited a full 21 days so just wondering if the money is usually released at 21 days or if people have issues getting the money.

Do you mean the receipt for the item or the postage receipt?

Sometimes PayPal will glitch and not release the funds at which point you have to phone or message them for it to be manually released

Do you mean you can't find tracking number?
Because when submitting tracking info to PayPal 21 day hold get reduced to +/- 7 days.

Otherwise after 21 day passes, generally funds are released in 24/48 hours. If not you may think of contacting PayPal.

postage receipt. I mean I can prob get it but its a hassle. There have been no issues with the buyer. He has the item. I just dont want there to be a problem where I have to call in and paypal starts looking at the account. Also just wanted to know peoples experience with 21 day holds. Like do they usually release the money right at 21 days or is it common to have to call in.

Yeah so I never attached a tracking to the transaction. I know if I do its 3 days after delivery. Its just such a hassle trying to go to the post office and get that stuff. The people can be so terrible there.

I always post a tracking # b/ I want my funds released ASAP. They usually get released 3 days after the item is received. Some my items are high priced so I cannot afford to have that money tied up. I need funds released so I can purchase more merchandise and put money back into my business.

Tracking info are really important, besides allowing you to get your funds released faster they can protect you against scammers, who get the item and claim that they never received it and open a dispute against you :croc:

Guys Guys i am not new to stealth here haha.

I know the tracking is important. I know when its released with confirmed tracking. This is a one time thing. I was just wondering about anyone who has done the full 21 day hold. Were there any issues with the funds being released right on the 21st day.

No worries! no one said you are new to the game =}

Generally if there was problem on buyer's side the funds get released without any issue, but not necessarily on the 21st day !

Ok so what are people usually seeing and are they having to call in to get it released

I think this depends on the history of the account, item sold and price...

But, from my experience never had to call PayPal to release funds, In most cases I enter Tracking to PayPal (to assure faster release). If Not, waiting an additional day or two wouldn't bother me if I have waited the whole 21 day.
