PayPal 21 day hold

I received two payments and both were available but within 20 minutes I got an email from PayPal that Buyer X and Buyer Y sent $xxx. I log in to my account and now both payments on a 21 day hold. This ever happen before to anyone else?

No one understands the reasoning behind the holds, sometimes you get instant payments, sometimes you get holds. They come and go at eBay/Paypals discretion.

Its pretty common to get holds on payments. Just provide tracking and money is released pretty fast once tracking shows delivery.

How old is your account?

Have you sold a lot of items on the account?

But they were both available immediately but then placed on hold. This never happened to me before, just wondering if anyone else ever experienced this.

It happens.
Happens mostly on newer accounts and yes it has happened to me before as well.

As a matter of fact this happens.
You never know when 21 hold day may take place. Even if they are removed after establishing a history, they can reappear again for a reason or another!

it happens to me when my paypal accounts < 2 months old with very little transaction
