Pretty sure paypal intend to keep my money, any options?
 

To cut a long story short a paypal acc was limited connected to my domain- I wasnt sure if the domain was now completely burned so I added a very old paypal account (opened in 2003-never verified). Needless to say it was fairly soon limited, due to the eu limits it requested ID. Well I had some, because it is actually in my name registered at an old address I had and my licence showed the correct details but expired, so the only creative part would be dates because I sent passport and drivers licence.

Then I received a reply- it was not accepted. Then I had to get creative since they had both of my original ids and send 2 more. Not accepted. Permanent limitation ensued along with no appeal. I opened a complaint to paypal, finally received a response this morning. It read blahblahblah bite me we arent reversing our decision, and how do you like this.....thrown in for good measure....we also will only be able to release your funds after 180 days if you can provide id as none of your other items were accepted.

So considering they have had (albeit some of the creativity sucked I can admit that- but figured it was doomed so hey ho) a drivers licence, a passport, a birth certificate, government letter and a bank statement.....Im officially ****** right? And can forget about the funds held in that account? It is just short of 2k.

Permanent limitation with no appeal ....you can try a hail mary, phone call shot but pretty it's over otherwise

I think maybe its worth a small claims if there are no alternative methods and since it does contain my actual details with a couple of minor changes?

Im pretty sure phoning them after 180 days would be complete suicide (although in theory that would involve coming back to life to die again)- I havent had a single good thing happen over the phone.
