Recurring membership payments via stealth account - yes or no?
 

I run several monthly recurring membership websites and I'm just wondering whether anyone uses stealth PayPal accounts with recurring payments- or whether they think the risks of being limited and having to manually recreate attempt to get those renewals back is too risky/costly? If the answer is that is it too risk, what alternative provider do you use for such providers?

I'm just conscious that one of the big values being recurring payments is that many subscribers will never cancel , but if they were forced to renew once more due to a paypal limitation permanently scuppering the PayPal stealth account, it's likely that a good percentage would not get round to it/choose not too.

Thoughts on this for those with experience please?

I personally would avoid paypal in your situation if i was using a brand new account. New Paypal accounts are fragile, you cant do too much.

Now if you had an aged account with a solid 2-3 years of sales than yes, an aged paypal account with nice selling history is a good payment processor
