hi guys got kicked this morning on my own ssn. going to try for an appeal but doubt i will win it. i need to create a new ebay (not a problem) but i also need to create a new paypal what icant figure out is how to get around then paypal ssn requirement mind you my paypal isnt limited but i know i cant use it any more with ebay. how do you get around that and is it worth it to just buy a verified account from one of the sites? how do you get around it when you get close to the irs report marker.

ein? how does that work i know it might already be in a thread but lotta infor to start through i have both stealth and ghost guide but it really doesnt address this issue

I would start with eBay Stealth first, to get a solid understanding of what you should be doing and afterwards if you would like to purchase an account, go for it.

ive read stealth but it doesn't say much about how the ein works and in reading the forums i am getting a ton of conflicting info. my goal is $10,000 a month in sales. i was at 2k. i need to figure out what it takes to make that happen i am thinking it would take 7 accounts but i m also wondering if i were to change the amail address on my paypal now that they re separate companies could that be used for a new ebay account as making a new ebay is simple enough but its the paypal thats tricky with the irs issue and not having the taxes burden go to them. i live in an impoverished area and could just pay dozens of people $100 to use thier info and address. people who dont have and will never have an ebay or paypal account. but if i instead go the ein route i just read i will still need a ssn

Sorry to burst your bubble here but on a brand new account...your not going to get near that and if you did...you would get limited quickly or asked for a ton of documents by PayPal.

Seriously, you need to stop.....if you plan to make 7 accounts, your going to want to have all 7 have their own email address, own bank and so forth....

That's just a bad idea....just as bad as using family, friends.

No one said this stuff was easy, you need to figure it all out before you dive in.

ok is there thread that says whats obsolete and why? i dont see a drawbck in using a family member xcept the tax issue but multiple accounts solve that

There could be, who knows. Look, even if you went the family route....you can't push $10K/month on a brand new account...Stealth or NOT stealth, it's not going to happen. I don't know when you started selling but things are not the same as when you started.

no no 10k is my goal lol i need just need to make around 1k to survive and i can split inventory between 2 accounts

1K a month is a nice number on a newer account, but that all depends also on what is being sold, you will need to read up on what is risky to sell especially on new accounts.

And the EIN route is the way to go, no need involving other people. You will need just your SS# TO get as many EINs as u will need

i am mostly a thrifter so whatever i can find most stuff is under 100 and stuff like nerf, toys, legos, transformers littlest pet shop etc

Just to chuck my advice in the pot.. I think your trying to run before you can walk by the sounds of this post.
Read the manual, and read various posts to do with your issue as this will all help.
As MM78 said on a new account that sort of amount of cash is going to be difficult, I understand your goal is $10,000 a month but with a new stealth account I would put this number on the back burner and concentrate on building up your sales slowly.
Its easy to get side tracked and get excited on getting back to do what you do best but having that goal is great, but making it a reality in the first instance is a completely different kettle of fish
When people on here give advice its because its probably been from previous experience themselves and they are passing on their knowledge so you don't make the same mistake.

I would take my time and not rush it as when you rush you make mistakes and that's when the inevitable will happen.

is there anything wrong with using the same digital camera to take your pictures with?

No, you can use the same camera, just make sure you clean the images before uploading them to ebay.

You do realize that you can clean a ton of images in under 2 seconds.....by using the program fox20c just posted.

no just asking. I do want to thank you guys for the advice and dont want to be difficult. I am just trying to get a full understanding and formulate a plan. as of right now i am going to run 6 accounts (3 PayPal and bank accounts each linked to 2 ebay accounts):2 on an llc using an Ein on my home network after i change the mac address in my router, 2 using a bought SSN on a vpn and 2 using on a partners info all using g-mail accounts linked by the gmail app so i get notifications on all 6 on the one my friend is running i want to be able to email pic i take to her. My photo setup now is kodak easy share automatically downloaded to Dropbox via an Eyefi card. My concern with the last question is just a matter of streamlining and speed for the person remotely listing from her phone.
