accepting Payment alternitive for australians wanting to get back on ebay
 

Hey guys,
Ive registered with Paymate. its easy and simple to use, just like paypal, but without all the crap paypal put you through, putting limits on your account etc. its free to register, and cheap to use (cheaper than paypal even) and whats better is its an australian processor.

its easy to put the link into your accounts for taking payments:

that shows u what u need to do and even makes the link to your account for you in html format.

honestly i dont know how paypal is in buisness with australian sellers wen paymates around. i was stoked wen i found it. im sick of the b/s paypal put me through, especially cos im a dropshipper and when they put holds on my accounts, i had my buyers waiting for weeks and then got bad feedback.

if you take a high volume of sales in a month u can upgrade ur account for a small fee (30 buks or something) and thats it, no questions asked! no limitations! no crap!

hope this helps people like me, who are stay at home parents relying on their ebay income! paymate deposit right into ur bank, same as paypal.

yep ive ticked merchant account, but just use paymate instead! I use that html code which takes them to the payment site, or use the code in an email requesting payment!

the site is for australian and new zealand residents as far as i know, im pretty sure i read that. we can accept payments world wide, but to have an account we gotta be australian or new zealand.

doesnt take long to hit the bank account either, which is also a plus for me wen im dropshipping!

In Ebay i carnt find where the option is to accept merchant accoutn. Can you please tell me where eg MY ebay - seller account etc. Also is your ebay account older than JAn 17th 2007?, because that is when ebay makes you ahve Paypal or merchant account.

Paymate can only take Australian purchases not from overseas. Do you use paypal and paymate or just paymate withour offering paypal?.

no i just use paymate. i have ticked mercahnt account when u go to list ur items and the accepted payments part. but i dont have one really. its just to keep ebay off my back. My ebay account is only weeks old!
then i use the html code to put the pay now with paymate. i havnt had any quesions as of yet from my buyers about paymate.
its working well for me so far, and its so simple to just transfer the money back into my account. no restrictions, etc. so im definatley not complaining :)
once u suss it out its easy. plenty of people tick that they have a merchant account and actually dont have one yet.
