Paypal advice/help
 

Hello,

one of my ebay accounts recently was lifted from suspension after 1 year for schill bidding. during that time my paypal account was locked up( i believe due to negative amounts because i couldnt send items ,but i am too afraid to investigate) well now my ebay is working and i am selling using a friends paypal account. so far everything is great, i have sold a bunch and have positive feedback and even made a withdrawl from paypal. i am wondering if a.) i have something to worry about here and b.) can i add my bank account to the paypal and even have the withdrawls go to my bank account instead of my friend (i plan to get a new bank account # for this, if i have to i will even add his name to my bank account)

i dont want this account to get locked up, but with my intake (about $1,000 sales a week) i feel like its inevitable

Well if it does become limited for more information about the user, you can provide that with your friends docs/SSN.

You can use your own bank account, it should be fine.

Keep doing what you're doing. Don't mess with any of your old eBay and PayPal accounts and you should be okay.

thanks aspin, im trying to keep the account balance on paypal low. i think a high paypal balance is much more likely to be locked up then if i keep withdrawing a little bit everyday and dont keep much in the account.

Nah.. balance doesn't matter so much, it's how much you take in your account, and if that amount increases too fast.. like you go from $100 a day to $300 a day.. bad example that's somewhat low.. if you go form $500 a day to $1000 a day or more.. that's bad and will cause a limitation. There are other risks to factor in too like the product you sale, the amount of complaints etc, chargebacks, refunds.

When you go to withdraw funds, keep at least 10% of your average balance in your PayPal account at all times...

i believe i am at the $200-$300 a day area. but this account was dead fromm 2005 until recently. never used just created.

Its the kind of items too, if you sell 2 items for $500 total it seems to get me limited more often than if I sell $500 worth of $3 items. Got to limit the amount you put through the account and build it up slowly. Ive started selling the cheaper items on an account for a couple of months before changing to more expensive stuff gradually, it seems to do the trick if youre patient.

most of my items are in the $8-$15 range and about 15-20 a day

so far so good doing eBay and PayPal slow and slow 100~200~300...1000
