This number doesn't appear to be registered in your name. Need to verify identity.

I need help verifying my identitiy with Paypal. It is telling me that the phone number is not registered in my name and I cannot get past this. I am using a GV phone number. Is there any way past this? Anyone know how long they will continue to ask for this?

You are suppose to create the account with a good number and keep it alive or you will run into this problem. You can add new number but it will not recognize it for at least 60 days.

Didnt know that .. so you can add a new number to pp then just wait 60 days and it will become a default number ??? I always thought if you lose the number on pp wouldnt matter if you added another number wouldnt work for unlocking :clap:

So I cannot access my funds for 60 days now? There is no way around this? I have never had this problem with any of my accounts.

Here's a tip, Never say Never. Some people have had success using the phone app...

No luck with the app. I have heard of people getting a trac phone. Do you think that may work?

Theres no solid work around, many different things work some days and times of day and will not work other times and days. Just keep trying.
When creating future accounts always use a number that u will always have access to
