I need to add my EIN soon here - like today. I have it on hand and ready to enter.

Paypal asks for address of business.

Is it okay to use the address that is on another paypal account? I might be able to use the registers address as it is different.

BUT on the document from the IRS - it has my current address which is on another paypal business account. - That paypal account and address is in good standing with PayPal - but ebay wouldn't like the address.


So I'm mainly just asking for help regarding the address and what I should put in. And if it will matter being different than my current paypal address which is CA address, but I'm in NV.

Also I need to update them with the business phone. - I have an extra real tel number to give.

appreciate if anyone can shed light on how important the business address is and if it needs to match the IRS address for the EIN

The only thing that needs to match is your Paypal business name and the Business name that you used when creating the EIN. Just make sure the names are exact.

Any ein i have the address never matched the address on my stealth account and it hasnt been an issue

So just to confirm, I can use my real name (associated with another PayPal account) and ITIN to create an EIN for my Stealth Account as long as the Business Name (e.g. SuperSellers) is the same?

Yes, when creating an EIN you will always use real details. You just need the business names to match. When paypal runs a check , its a check that your paypal business name matches the business name used when creating the EIN, if its off by a letter it comes back no match

If the EIN is in YOUR name, you must use your real name on the PAypal account, otherwise the IRS check will not clear. Was your real name already associated with a banned EB or PP account?
With stealth you are only able use EIN if you create a corp. or LLC.

For me (not op) my real name is associated with a banned ebay & paypal account.
So I would need to create a corp or LLC? A sole proprietorship won't work?

This is 100% not true, I'm afraid. That would only be true with a sole proprietor EIN. All of my EIN's are in MY name, but NONE of my EIN Paypal accounts have MY name. My 1099's are delivered with a stealth name on them, which doesn't matter. I just take them to the tax guy and pay taxes for my EIN.
